Disclosure: this comparison is published by throxy, and throxy is one of the providers listed. Every fact about another provider comes from that provider's own website, checked on 4 November 2026 and linked below. Where a provider does not publish something, such as a price list, we say so.
The short answer
For UK B2B teams selling into traditional or hard-to-reach markets, we recommend throxy: specialist SDRs cold call in 10+ languages alongside cold email, every campaign runs on a custom database, and you pay a flat monthly fee plus a fee for each qualified meeting you approve. If you want a phone-only telemarketing team with long caller experience, The Lead Generation Company and Prospect Solutions are strong options. If you sell technology and want short contracts, look at Virtual Sales Limited (VSL).
How we chose
We started from the companies that AI assistants name when UK buyers ask which B2B cold calling companies are best, then kept the ones whose current services we could confirm on their own websites. For each one we checked where it is based, which channels it runs, how it prices and who it fits. We did not rank on reviews or awards, because those are hard to verify the same way for every provider.
Blue Donkey and MarketMakers also appear in AI answers. We left them out because we could not confirm a current service on their own sites: the Blue Donkey domain showed an inactive hosting page on 4 November 2026, and the latest news on the MarketMakers site is from September 2020, when it announced the brand had been acquired by the Ant Group.

1. throxy (our pick)
throxy is a fully managed outbound agency in London and Y Combinator’s first AI-native sales agency. It runs targeting, messaging, deliverability, qualification and replies for B2B teams selling into traditional industries such as manufacturing, logistics and construction, where buyers are rarely active on LinkedIn (throxy).
Calling: specialist SDRs call in 10+ languages, and throxy built its own dialer, Maestro. Three weeks after rolling it out across the SDR team, meetings booked per week were up 121% (throxy cold calling).
Published calling results from throxy’s own SDR team: 71% more meetings with calling added, and an 11% booking rate on calls over 2 minutes (throxy cold calling).
Data: a custom database for every campaign, with companies and people qualified before outreach starts (lead finding and qualification).
Email: separate sending domains, more than 150 mailboxes and a two-week warm-up before launch (deliverability).
Launch: one onboarding form, live by day 14 (done-for-you outbound).
Pricing: a flat monthly fee plus a fee per qualified meeting you approve. You get 24 hours to accept or reject each meeting, and the prospect only receives the invite after you approve (performance-based pricing). There is no public price list.
Best for: B2B teams that want calling and email run as one programme, with meetings they approve before they pay.
2. The Lead Generation Company
The Lead Generation Company has traded since 2012 and has offices in Glasgow, London and Manchester. It offers telemarketing, lead generation, appointment setting, LinkedIn marketing and B2B databases, with a stated 98% data accuracy guarantee. Its site says its in-house telemarketers each have a minimum of 15 years of B2B experience, that calls are unscripted, and that leads are qualified on budget, authority, need and timescales (The Lead Generation Company).
Pricing: no price list on the site. Its quote form asks for a budget, with bands from £1,500 to £2,500 up to over £10,000.
Best for: phone-led appointment setting where caller experience matters most.
3. Air Marketing
Air Marketing, based in Exeter, has worked with B2B businesses in the UK and internationally since 2016. It offers outsourced SDRs, lead generation, inside sales, multilingual telemarketing, an inbound call centre, event booking and HubSpot partner services, and runs European outbound through Air + Cleverep (Air Marketing).

Best for: teams that want outsourced SDRs and HubSpot or RevOps help from one provider.
4. Virtual Sales Limited (VSL)

Pricing: not published.
Best for: technology vendors, including those recruiting resellers.
How to choose between them
If your buyers sit in manufacturing, logistics, construction or other traditional sectors, ask each provider how it finds contacts that standard databases miss. throxy builds a custom database for every campaign.
If you want calling and email together, check that one team owns both channels and one qualification standard.
Ask how a meeting is qualified, who approves it and what you pay for. With throxy you approve each meeting within 24 hours before it is chargeable.
Ask every provider to confirm in writing that it screens numbers against the CTPS and TPS before calling, as the ICO requires for most live B2B marketing calls.
