The Problem We're Addressing:
Sales teams often miss their quotas. Why? Because they spend more time on tedious operational tasks than on actual selling

B2B sales is hard. And many modern solutions only automate the problem. Making it more tiresome and chaotic rather than resolving it. There are too many tools and too little time. While there are many good point solutions they often have sales teams managing a heap of a different technologies, leaving them confused and less productive. Hours are wasted on research and data validation. With many of these tools pointing sales teams to focus on the wrong side of the equation: volume. The modern B2B landscape is noisy, with buyers overwhelmed by irrelevant outreach. High volumes burn your TAM and burn your brand. While some tools advocate for better personalization or messaging. That does not matter if no one opens your email or answers your call. There’s a monumental shift in the industry of B2B prospecting - and CROs are searching for a new playbook. Cold outbound is too static and needs to be more dynamic.

Our competitors are aware of the importance of timing, but they fail to prioritize it because it is a very difficult problem to crack. Instead most competitors rely on using the same techniques, and the same large, structured data sources, leading to oversaturated markets where everyone is fishing in the same pond. This approach only exacerbates the noise in the B2B landscape, making it harder to stand out.

Our Approach:
We love the frame of thinking "Imagine If." Imagine if we could use the same technology behind Google ads, Tinder matches, and the TikTok algorithm to deliver the right prospects to sales teams at the perfect moment. Bring buyers and sellers together when they want and a need to engage.

Where advertising algorithms score based on relevance, dating algorithms score based on compatibility, sales will be scored on timing. When are they ready to buy?

With the surge of LLMs a new paradigm shift has started to occur—the wave of AI agents, or digital workers. While some view AI as a threat to their jobs, we see it as an unprecedented opportunity to enhance human potential. Our focus is on AI-enabled sales automation that doesn't just replace human tasks but augments human capabilities. Rather, we use a "human-in-the-loop" approach to enhance and amplify what salespeople do best—building relationships. LLM and agentic AI technology enables us to create something we call the "Sales Engine" … I'm sure we will think of a more funky name later.

With agentic workflows, we can build a system that eliminates the tedious back-office tasks traditionally handled by sales teams—or, if you're already using AI-powered sales tools, the burden of managing that technology. Our AI-powered "Sales Engine" continuously learns and adapts based on real-time data, refining its approach with each interaction.

Much like advertising and dating platforms, we believe the future of sales lies in a continuous feedback loop of data that enhances algorithms over time. Our technology evolves with each outreach campaign, identifying and qualifying accounts, scoring leads, and finding the best contact within each account. It then crafts personalized messages, learning and self-improving with every email sent. The more you use it, the smarter and more effective it becomes, driving better outcomes and optimizing your sales process.

Why Are We Here?

Why Are We Here?

The foundation of throxy was born out of the long-standing relationship between Arnau and Pablo, who first met in high school. Despite pursuing different paths, they stayed in contact. While Pablo was working as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Arnau persistently shared his excitement about the new GPT-2 technology he was working on at JP Morgan. While Pablo was frustrated with sending hundreds of ineffective, generic emails each week just to meet activity goals, this led to an "aha" moment when they realized the potential of using AI to solve common problems faced by sales teams.

Recognizing the need for a solution to the inefficiencies in sales processes, they decided to collaborate. They were soon joined by Bergen, who pivoted away from his entrepreneurial project after being inspired by Arnau’s passion for technology having studied together at the University of Bath. Together, they leveraged their combined expertise to develop throxy, a tool designed to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness by addressing the challenges they had personally experienced.
