Throxy, a company providing a fully managed outbound sales service for businesses targeting traditional sectors, today announced the closing of a $6.2 million seed funding round. The investment was led by Base10 Partners and includes participation from Y Combinator.

Throxy addresses a critical inefficiency in the sales world: the failure of modern automation tools to connect with decision-makers in industries like manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare. In these sectors, buyers often have a minimal digital footprint, rendering typical online prospecting methods ineffective. This forces sales teams to spend as much as 70% of their time on manual, repetitive lead generation rather than on closing deals.

To solve this, Throxy operates as a comprehensive growth partner, managing the entire outbound sales process. By integrating proprietary data, advanced technology, and human oversight, the company identifies and engages hard-to-reach prospects, delivering qualified meetings directly to its clients’ calendars. This allows in-house sales teams to concentrate exclusively on revenue-generating activities.

The company’s performance-based model is a key differentiator. Clients are billed for results—specifically, for meetings that are successfully booked. If no meetings are generated, there is no charge, eliminating the risk associated with traditional software subscriptions.

“The world of outbound sales has seen diminishing returns because the tools have not adapted to industries that operate largely offline,” said Pablo Jiménez de Parga Ramos, co-founder of Throxy. “We’re built to navigate these complex markets by finding the right people and starting valuable conversations, even when there’s no digital trail to follow.”

Founded in 2023 by Pablo Jiménez de Parga Ramos, Bergen Merey, and Arnau Ayerbe, Throxy has already demonstrated significant market traction. The founding team achieved $1.5 million in ARR with just three people. Following its graduation from Y Combinator’s Spring 2025 cohort, the company will use the new capital to expand its team nearly fivefold to satisfy growing customer demand.

Clients are already seeing remarkable results, with some reporting positive reply rates as high as 84% and saving over 15 hours per week on prospecting tasks.

“Throxy provides a crucial execution layer for growth in the 99% of the economy that technology often overlooks,” stated Rexhi Dollau, General Partner at Base10 Partners. “They deliver tangible outcomes, not just software activity, and we are excited to support their mission.”
